Waterfall Security Solutions was founded in 2007 when the industrial cybersecurity field was virtually non-existent. The company’s Co-Founder and CEO, Lior Frenkel, established Waterfall Security Solutions in view of his experience. The unbearable ease with which one was able to digitally penetrate industrial systems demonstrated how poorly defended industrial networks were at that time: “I cannot recall even a single failed penetration attempt. This really bothered me and made me understand how vulnerable these plants were to cyberattacks.”
